Our Story – 27 Years of Bookselling Excellence

Since opening our doors over two decades ago, A page or two… Bookshop has built a reputation as one of Brisbane’s finest second-hand bookshops.

Our journey began with a simple yet profound mission: to create a space where people could explore the magic of books in an inviting and personal setting.
In 2015, our commitment to outstanding customer service was recognised when we won the Centenary Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award.
We take pride in our award-winning customer service and our commitment to fostering a love for books in our community.
In 2025, new owner John continues to build on our legacy, adapting to the evolving world of bookselling while staying true to our passion for literature.
Linda still works in the bookshop, supporting John on a part-time basis.
Our collection is always evolving, with fresh arrivals of pre-loved, rare, and hard-to-find books that you won’t come across in mainstream bookstores. As well as a huge range of most genres… fiction and nonfiction.

We understand that some books hold sentimental value, while others are lifelong pursuits. That’s why we go the extra mile to help our customers find exactly what they’re looking for. From first editions and signed copies to forgotten classics and niche non-fiction, every book on our shelves has a story waiting to be discovered.
