Five Days at Claremont

Published by Boolarong Press in 1981, this is a history of Claremont, a Georgian-style sandstone villa overlooking the Bremer River at Limestone Hill, Ipswich. Designed in 1857 by William Claydon Wakefield, the house was originally built for prominent Ipswich merchant John Panton and has strong connections to the early Moreton Bay penal settlement. Some staining to back cover, a few marks on front cover.
